About us
Since founded in 2010, we (TTT) have been handling mainly Japanese－English translation work through our meticulous techniques to satisfy our clients, complying with their detailed requests.
No cloud translation or machine translation is used.
All requested assignments are translated manually by hand, from beginning to end.
All of our translation is carried out in pairs with a translator and copyeditor or proofreader. We don’t work in a step-by-step flow operation common with other translation services.
The pair works closely to complete requested assignments up to delivery.
We can deal with any documents, large or small, with almost any subject matter.

The original document (source) is outsourced to a translator whose level varies from limited to experienced.

A native English speaker checks, if the client wishes, otherwise the target won’t be checked.

The final check is done by in-house staff.

The source is translated to the target language by our translator with 25+ years of experience.

The target is passed to an English copyeditor / proofreader to be checked and revised.
↓
The revised target is passed back to the translator to make sure the revision has not strayed from the source’s intended meaning, and is corrected, if needed.

The target is re-checked by the copyeditor / proofreader.
↓
Back to the translator again to go over in further detail.
↓
A final check is done by both the translator and copyeditor / proofreader.

Ready to be delivered to the client.
For larger projects, more copyeditors and/or proofreaders are involved, and the process is repeated between all members. Our method of passing back to the translator after each iteration assures that we stick to the original, intended meaning and avoid missing anything in the source. The target then becomes natural and smoothly readable, thanks to our experienced, native English-speaking copyeditors and proofreaders.
TTT has been using this pair work method for 11 years based on our philosophy to provide our clients with quality translations at reasonable prices.
We can maintain these rates due to having zero expenses when carrying out our work.
